About Friends of Grand Lake Audubon Society

Based in the heart of the Central Flyway in the Grand Lake, Oklahoma area, the Friends of Grand Lake Audubon Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building a vibrant birding community and protecting the natural spaces birds rely on.

Our mission is simple: to welcome everyone into the world of birding while promoting education, conservation, and habitat preservation. We believe that birding is for everybody—and that the birds we love, and the ecosystems they depend on, thrive when more people are informed, involved, and inspired.

Through local outreach, hands-on education, and community events, we work to deepen appreciation for our natural world and to protect it for future generations.

Whether you’re an expert birder or just starting out, there’s a place for you in The Flock. Won't you JOIN US now?
